Terms of service for online bookings and credit card payment services for community tourism enterprises.

  • You are authorizing Solimar International and Adventure Bucket List to accept online bookings and process online credit card payments on behalf of your community tourism enterprise. 

  • You agree that to the best of your knowledge, the description of your tour or activity on this website is accurate and up to date. 

  • When an online booking occurs, you will be notified of the booking immediately at the email address you provided. The notification will include the date/time that the booking is scheduled for, the size of the group, contact information for the customer, and confirmation that the booking has been paid by credit card.

  • Online bookings and credit card payment will not be accepted less than 48 hours before the tour or activity is scheduled to begin. 

  • When an online credit card payment is made, Solimar will transfer the balance to your community tourism enterprise within five business days. You will receive an email confirmation when the funds have been transferred

  • Funds can be deposited directly to your bank account, or made available for cash pickup at participating financial institutions around Jamaica. Cash pickup is available at 287 locations across Jamaica. For a full list of cash pickup locations, click here.

  • There is a $4.99 USD transaction fee for receiving the funds. You have the option of paying this fee or passing the cost on to your customers by including an additional $4.99 transaction fee to the cost of online bookings.

  • If you decide to refund a customer for any amount, whether for cancelling a booking or for any other reason, you must inform Solimar of the decision. Solimar will issue the refund to the customer’s credit card. If Solimar has already transferred you the funds that were refunded, then Solimar will withhold the same amount from your next booking. 

  • If your community tourism enterprise fails to deliver the experience that a customer booked and that customer demands a refund, then Solimar will refund the amount charged to the customer’s credit card. If Solimar has already transferred you the funds that were refunded, then Solimar will withhold the same amount from your next booking. Should you fail to deliver on more than one occasion, Solimar reserves the right to discontinue the booking relationship with you.  

  • Solimar will charge no fee for processing your credit card transaction and sending the balance to your enterprise.
